Tokyo based musician and composer Marty Holoubek originally hails from Adelaide, South Australia Australia. With a passion for music from a young age, Holoubek began playing bass as a teenager and quickly developed a reputation as a standout musician in his hometown.

At the age of 21, Marty's musical journey eventually led him to the vibrant Australian city of Melbourne, where his artistry flourished even further. Embracing the city's thriving music scene, he continued to captivate audiences as a bassist and composer.

In August of 2018, Marty made a pivotal decision to explore new musical horizons in Tokyo, Japan. Since settling in Tokyo, Marty has quickly become a prominent figure in the Japanese music scene, collaborating and performing with esteemed artists like Terumasa Hino, Jim O’Rourke, Eiko Ishibashi, Tatsuhisa Yamamoto, ermhoi, Shun Ishiwaka, Sakiyama Soushi, HIMI, Black Boboi, Kakudo Manami and Answer to Remember to name a few.
